Germany: Alloheim Group to acquire ProCurand Care

-

The Alloheim Group, the largest private provider of inpatient and outpatient care services in Germany, is acquiring ProCurand Care, a German care provider, from Theis Stiftung. The acquisition, expands Alloheim’s position in Germany’s care market and strengthens its presence in Berlin and Brandenburg.

The ProCurand Group operates 19 inpatient geriatric care facilities with around 1,550 beds, over 1,100 apartments, serving more than 2,500 residents and tenants, as well as four day-care centres and 12 outpatient care services.

“ProCurand is an excellent fit for us,” said Dr Steffen Hehner, CEO of the Alloheim Group, which plans to invest in the further development of care and in the facilities over the next few years.

The ProCurand brand will be retained as part of the Alloheim Group.

In August, Alloheim announced a new partnership with Elevation, which saw it strengthen its positioning in Hamburg, Lower Saxony and North Rhine‑Westphalia with the acqusition of the operations of Integra Senior Citizens.
