Virpi Holmqvist has been appointed as the president and CEO of Attendo, a leading care provider in the Nordic region. She comes from the role of business area manager for Attendo Finland, an assignment she has held since 2019.
Holmqvist has extensive experience in the welfare sector, including stints with Touhula and Pihlajalinna. In total, she has spent 14 years with Attendo over two different periods.
She succeeds Martin Tivéus, who announced in June 2026 that he is leaving Attendo for another CEO position.
