Sweden: Guido Oelkers to leave CEO role at Sobi

Guido Oelkers, CEO of listed biopharma Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (Sobi), is stepping down from his current role to take up another position outside Sobi. He will remain in-post until the end January 2027 at the latest.

Sobi has begun the process of identifying a successor.

Oelkers joined Sobi in 2017.

Sobi has approximately 2,000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. In 2025, revenue amounted to SEK28bn (US$2.94bn).
