Greece: Bruce Vielle takes up CEO role at Famar

Bruce Vielle has taken up the CEO position at Greece-based CDMO, Famar.

Vielle has more than20 years of leadership experience across the pharmaceutical manufacturing and CDMO industries. Throughout his career, he has led complex international manufacturing organisations and multi-site operations across Europe, most recently as CEO of Meribel Pharma Solutions and before the creation of Meribel Pharma Solutions, Synerlab.

At Famar, Vielle will lead the firm’s growth journey, building on the company’s recent investments in new technologies and capabilities while further strengthening operational excellence, agility, and customer partnerships.

In 2024, European private equity investor, MidEuropa, acquired a controlling stake in Famar from ECM Partners and Metric Capital Partners
