Netherlands: Judith Schoenmaeckers appointed CEO of European Dental Group

After more than six years with European Dental Group (EDG), Judith Schoenmaeckers has been appointed CEO of EDG.

Nordic Capital-backed EDG is a network of oral care providers in Europe with each member company founded by experienced dentists and technicians. It now consists of more than 300 oral care institutions treating over 1.6 million patients every year in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, the UK, France and Switzerland. It has more than 7,500 professionals.

Schoenmaeckers joined EDG as COO in 2020 and has since played a key role in the growth and development of the group. She has also been CEO of TopMondzorg since 2022 and will continue in this role.

As CEO of EDG, Schoenmaeckers will focus on bringing the group closer together to share knowledge and best practice, accelerate innovation and use scale where it adds value.
