Asker Healthcare Group, a Stockholm-listed company building a network of medical products and solutions to the European healthcare sector, has acquired Med Kjemi, a specialist distributor of equipment and consumables for hospital laboratories in Norway.
Med Kjemi, based in Asker near Oslo, was founded in 1966 as a private family company, distributing diagnostics, consumables and smaller instrumentation to the medical field. Today it serves almost every microbiology and biochemistry laboratory in Norway’s hospitals as well as the country’s GPs and the food- and environmental control centres.

The firm has five employees and generated revenue of approximately SEK50m (US$5.2m) in 2025.
In August, Asker acquired Lithuania-based Ambercell Solutions, a Baltic medtech solutions provider and distributor.
