Germany/Netherlands: Arcura completes over 14,000 sqm of lease deals

-

Arcura Medical Properties, a European healthcare real estate platform focused on medical outpatient buildings and clinical infrastructure, has secured over 14,000 sqm of lease deals, at a WALT (by income) of 9.6 years, across its European platform over the course of 2026.

Over 4,800 sqm of new lettings were signed across its Germany and Netherlands holdings, including: Happy Village, a child development clinic, which took 1,480 sqm at Medimall in Rotterdam on a 10-year lease; and Carolinas Intensivepflege, part of Opseo Group, which has signed a 10-year lease for 835 sqm in Fulda.

It has also regeared 27 leases to secure extended commitments for over 9,500 sqm of space. These include outpatient healthcare provider Equipe Zorgbedrijven extending its existing 3,100 sqm lease at Dr Holtroplaan 3 and expanding an additional 150 sqm for use as two further operating theatres.

The activity highlights both the depth of demand for outpatient healthcare real estate across Germany and the Netherlands, and the strength of the assets within Arcura’s platform, according to Simon Betty, CEO of Arcura. “It also highlights the strength of our approach and the specialist capabilities of our asset management team, working with occupiers to provide the space they need, in the locations they need it, both now and into the future,” he said.

Arcura, launched in In July by US-based global alternative asset management firm, TPG Real Estate, is a purpose-built European healthcare real estate platform focused on delivering high-quality clinical infrastructure. The platform consists of 30 properties across more than 180,000 sqm, serving more than 400 healthcare tenants in key regions including Berlin, Hamburg and The Randstad.
