Belgium: Gimv completes €150m private placement bond

-

Brussels-listed Gimv has completed a €150m (US$171m) 5.532% eight-year private placement bond issue via arranger and sole bookrunner KBC Securities. Bonds were placed with a limited number of institutional investors.

The deal comes after Gimv, in July, repaid an outstanding €75m bond.

“This new long-term bond issue brings our total bond portfolio to €425m while significantly extending its average duration,” said Koen Dejonckheere, CEO and Kristof Vande Capelle, CFO Gimv. “Together with the increase in our revolving credit facility to €400m, announced earlier this year, this provides us with solid funding capacity to pursue our growth ambitions and support the continued growth of our portfolio companies.”

The bonds broaden Gimv’s financial headroom to continue investing across its four investment platforms (Consumer, Healthcare, Smart Industries and Sustainable Cities.
