Switzerland: Impact Healthcare completes its portfolio in integrated care with acquisition of Gimv’s majority stake in AlpenBlu Clinics

-

Gimv, a listed Belgium-based investment company, has sold its majority stake in the Swiss outpatient mental healthcare platform AlpenBlu Clinics (former Les Psy Réunis) to Impact Healthcare (IHC), the healthcare investment platform of Swiss family-owned investment group Après-Demain, alongside the company’s founders, who will lead its next phase of growth.

Gimv invested alongside the founders of the Les Psy Réunis in September 2022.

Founded in 2018 by Doctors Elizabeth and Andrei Cicotti under the name Les Psy Réunis, AlpenBlu Clinics has grown into one of the leading outpatient mental healthcare providers in French-speaking Switzerland. The group operates a network of specialised psychiatric and psychological care centres across the cantons of Geneva, Vaud and Fribourg.

“Since our investment, AlpenBlu Clinics has evolved into a more diversified, professionally managed and scalable platform,” according to Gautier Lefebvre, Kevin Klein and Hadrien Pigot, Gimv Healthcare. “Together with the founders and the management, we have contributed to triple its size, build a strong foundation for future growth while helping the company navigate an evolving regulatory environment.”

Gimv supported the group in executing its growth strategy, expanding its footprint across French-speaking Switzerland, both organically and inorganically, strengthening its management team and governance structures, and investing in the digitalisation of its operations.

Together with the founders, Impact Healthcare will provide long-term support to accelerate the expansion of the network and continue investing in clinical excellence, talent and infrastructure.

“We are pleased to take over from Gimv, . . . and we are excited to join forces with Drs Elizabeth and Andrei Cicotti to continue providing high-quality patient care and offer them an integrated care pathway,” said Thierry Mauvernay, Alexandra Le Coz Sanchez and William Deflon of Impact Healthcare.

The transaction results in a return in line with Gimv’s long-term return target.

In January 2026, Gimv announced that it will not be making any further new investments in its Life Sciences platform.
