Cureety, a France-based precision oncology care company, has acquired Reimagine Care, a US company combining AI-powered cancer care support with oncology-specialised care teams to extend cancer care beyond the clinic. Reimagine Care is already working with leading cancer centres and healthcare networks across the US.
“Cancer treatment has become extraordinarily precise, and we have an opportunity to bring that same level of precision to the care surrounding it,” said François-Guirec Champoiseau, CEO and co-founder of Cureety. “Together, we can understand what therapy a patient is receiving, what risks matter for that individual and how they are doing day to day, helping care teams focus their time and expertise on the patients and moments that need them most.”
Cureety has built therapy-specific monitoring and clinical triage in Europe, helping care teams identify potential deterioration and prioritise patients, while alleviating administrative burden through digital workflows. Reimagine Care has built Remi, an AI-enabled patient engagement platform, and a team of oncology-trained clinicians who stay connected to patients between visits. Remi engages patients conversationally, captures clinically relevant information and escalates to human care teams when needed.
The combination forms an organisation that supports more than 250 cancer centres and 100,000 patients across five countries, with a combined team of approximately 150 people.
“Oncology is entering a period where sophistication of the care model has to catch up with sophistication of the treatment,” said Dan Nardi, CEO of Reimagine Care. “Patients should be able to receive highly personalised support wherever they are, whenever they need it, while their oncologists remain at the centre of their care.”
