UK: Klick Health acquires Oxford PharmaGenesis

-

Canada-based Klick Health, an independent commercialisation partner for life sciences, has announced the acquisition of UK-based Oxford PharmaGenesis, the largest independent company in the healthcare communications sector.

The deal brings together two leading independent agencies in life sciences. The move deepens Klick’s scientific expertise, while expanding its real-world evidence and health economics and outcomes research capabilities. It also expands Klick’s global footprint. For Oxford PharmaGenesis, it provides clients with access to state-of-the-art technology, global award-winning creativity, and new opportunities for continued growth and innovation.

Leerom Segal, Klick’s co-founder and chairman, expressed enthusiasm on the combination “ . . . as we focus on helping life sciences clients think holistically about how evidence, medical strategy, access considerations, and stakeholder engagement connect across the lifecycle with a scientific-to-commercial offering that unlocks the true potential of their innovations.”

The companies will help life sciences clients accelerate their commercial success through complementary medical and commercial strategies, and global execution.

“Klick Health will ensure that we remain at the cutting edge of HealthScience communications but, more importantly, our shared values ensure a bright future together,” said Oxford PharmaGenesis CEO Chris Winchester.

With more than 300 advanced degree holders among the 500 professionals joining Klick from across Oxford PharmaGenesis teams in the UK, US, and Australia, Klick now has over 500 advanced degree holders – more than any other single healthcare agency in the world. Klick’s global presence also expands to 12 offices across North America, the UK, Australia, Brazil, and Singapore.

In 2022, Klick opened offices in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America and last year acquired Peregrine Market Access, bolstering its leadership in the value, access, and reimbursement segments within the US life sciences commercialisation space. It also acquired the Singapore operations of Ward6, an independent life sciences agency focused on healthcare professional marketing and medical communications.

In 2025, Klick received a growth investment from Linden Capital Partners and GIC.

Squire Patton Boggs (Mark Yeo, Simon Ayling, Summer Prior, Matthew Vautrey, Katie Alexander, Sunny Razza, Patrick Ford, Alice Jenkinson, Jo Johnson, Alex Weatherall) advised the shareholders of Oxford PharmaGenesis
