UK: Jeito Capital strengthens investment leadership and UK presence with appointment of Magdalena Jonikas as partner and Anastasiya Sybirna as principal

Jeito Capital, a France-based private equity firm dedicated to Biopharma, has appointed of a new partner, Magdalena Jonikas, and a principal, Anastasiya Sybirna, to its investment team, both based in London.

Jonikas brings 15 years of international biopharma experience spanning strategy, investing and operational leadership. Prior to Jeito, Jonikas was a partner at Syncona, where she led the creation, financing, and strategic development of therapeutics companies including OMass Therapeutics, Kesmalea Therapeutics and Mosaic Therapeutics. She served as an investor director on portfolio company boards, and took on operating leadership responsibilities, including as interim CEO of Mosaic Therapeutics. Before that, she was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company in the US and UK, where she advised global pharmaceutical and healthcare clients on strategy across the value chain, and led commercial due diligence across therapeutics, medtech, and services. She will contribute to Jeito’s differentiated investment strategy, support its portfolio companies through critical stages of growth and value creation, and help strengthen the firm’s presence in the UK.

Sybirna bringing experience across Biopharma investing and strategy consulting. Before joining Jeito, she was a senior associate at Fidelity-backed F-Prime Capital, where she focused on healthcare investments and served as an investment lead. Prior to F-Prime, Sybirna was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, specialising in Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products, and previously worked as a strategy consultant at Advancy. She will contribute to deal sourcing, due diligence, investment execution and portfolio company engagement.
