Reinsberg Group, a European healthcare technology group owned by investment group BHM Group, is expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of Spain-based Tedisel Medical, a manufacturer of medical equipment for intensive care units, critical care areas, inpatient wards, and operating rooms.
The acquisition represents another step in Reinsberg Group’s strategy to build a European group of manufacturers of medical technologies and comprehensive solutions for hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
Tedisel Medical, founded in 1995, specialises in the development and manufacture of hospital equipment for inpatient wards, intensive care units, critical care areas and operating rooms. Its product range includes technical panels, ceiling-mounted pendants and systems, bedhead units and software solutions for operating rooms. It has approximately 70 employees and its products are represented in healthcare facilities in more than 80 countries.
“Tedisel Medical brings to Reinsberg Group a product portfolio that fits well with the offering of the other companies in the group,” said Jan Izák, chairman of Reinsberg Group. “As a result, we will be able to offer customers a broader and more integrated solution while strengthening Reinsberg Group’s position in complex hospital projects.”
Tedisel Medical’s manufacturing capacity in Spain is also an important part of the transaction. Reinsberg Group is gaining an additional European production base for the further development of its medtech portfolio.
“With the acquisition of Tedisel Medical, we are strengthening Reinsberg Group’s position in Spain with an established manufacturer that has its own production and international references,” said Dr Markus Keussen, CEO of Reinsberg Group. “Tedisel also has long-standing experience in Latin America, which is important for us as we continue to develop our presence in Spanish-speaking markets.”
Alongside ALVO Medical, Brandon Medical, FAMED Żywiec, medifa, PROTEC and the 2026 acquisition of Rein Medical, Tedisel Medical brings additional product expertise in hospital infrastructure, operating rooms and intensive care to the Reinsberg Group.
BHM is a European investment group founded by Czech entrepreneur Tomáš Krsek. In addition to healthcare technologies, it is active in renewable energy, real estate, laboratory infrastructure, and venture capital.
