France: Halma strengthens healthcare capabilities  with acquisition of Dreampath Diagnostics

-

UK-listed Halma, a global group of life-saving technology companies, has acquired Dreampath Diagnostics, a France-based specialist in automated workflow solutions for anatomical pathology laboratories.

The acquisition strengthens Halma’s Healthcare Sector by adding capabilities in tissue sample traceability, archiving and lifecycle management, complementing its existing portfolio in Healthcare Enablement. Dreampath designs and supplies systems that help laboratories track, store and retrieve patient tissue samples accurately and efficiently throughout the diagnostic process.

“Dreampath is a high-quality business in a growing area of diagnostics, driven by increasing demand for better healthcare, more testing alongside new treatments, and rising rates of chronic disease as populations age,” said Marc Ronchetti, group CEO of Halma. “It strengthens our Healthcare Sector by adding complementary capabilities and broadening our portfolio of technologies that support safer, more efficient and effective care.”

The business will operate as a standalone company within Halma’s Healthcare Sector.

”We were looking for a long-term home that would value what makes Dreampath distinctive, support our people and culture, and help us accelerate our growth to continue protecting patients, sample by sample,” said Pablo Jordan, CEO of Dreampath. “Halma offers that combination of autonomy, ambition and support.”

In July 2025, Summit Partners made an undisclosed growth investment in Dreampath. Thomas Tarnowski and Jono Pagden led Summit’s investment and served on the board during the partnership.
