Nick Herbert has over 30 years’ experience in the financial markets, as both a practitioner and journalist. He started work as an investment banker in London, before joining International Financing Review (IFR) to report on debt capital markets and derivatives.

He moved to Singapore in 2000 to manage IFR’s financial markets editorial team throughout Asia, before returning to London in 2009 to take up the position of Publisher for Reuters Capital Markets Publications.

Since 2015 he has been covering global capital markets, ESG finance and healthcare markets. Prior to joining Investors in Healthcare, Nick spent 3 years reporting on healthcare deals for LaingBuisson as Editor of Healthcare Markets international.

Sarah Ward directs the strategic vision of Investors in Healthcare, leveraging her extensive 25 years of expertise in business growth, marketing strategies, and the creation and introduction of data-driven tools and digital platforms.

Additionally, Sarah serves as the Executive Director of the European Healthcare Investor Association (EHIA), spearheading both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the largest association of private capital providers investing in healthcare companies in Europe.

Before her tenure at EHIA and Investors in Healthcare, Sarah held the role of Commercial Director at LaingBuisson, where she oversaw sales, marketing, digital initiatives, and event management.

Frank Altmeyer is a visionary entrepreneur and experienced Co-Owner and founder of multiple companies and start-ups in the healthcare sector. With a passionate commitment to innovation and strategic partnerships, he actively drives the growth of promising start-ups.

Looking back on over 30 years of experience in the field of healthcare and a history in the management consulting industry, Frank currently works as the CEO of Summary Seven Healthcare Consulting and SmartHomecare, a health-tech start-up in the medical device sector.

Additionally, Frank serves as the Director of the investment company Captiva UG. His many years of expertise in theory and practice and an active network make him the perfect partner.
