Spain: Care Property Invest acquires new construction project in Spain

As part of its ambitions to expand its health care infrastructure in Belgium, The Netherlands, Spain, Ireland as well as elsewhere in the European Economic Area, Care Property Invest has completed the acquisition of a yet-to-be-developed residential care centre in Alicante, Spain. The new-build project, which will accommodate 139 residents in 122 rooms, represents an investment value of approximately €14.4m and is scheduled for completion in June 2028. It is its ninth project in Spain.

Care Property Invest is partnering with French healthcare operator Emera for the fifth time in a long-term triple net lease with a mandatory term of at least 18 years, renewable and indexed annually.

The seller and developer is Promociones y gestiones inmobiliarias Ratisbona, part of German developer Ratisbona Holding.
